Does Your Church Celebrate Palm Sunday?

This morning in church, many of the children came into worship carrying some sort of palm leaf contraption made in Sunday school. I joked with the praise team that they should borrow the various leaf creations and wave them while they were leading music this morning.

After church, a lady on our praise team, who is originally from Ghana, told me that when she was growing up, their whole church would act out the Palm Sunday scene. It sounded like it was a lot of fun, and I'm sure it gave everyone a better grasp of what it must have been like.

Here's a photo from Compassion of children in Kenya doing just that:

So does your church celebrate in a similar way?

I mean, really CELEBRATE?

Either with the children or with the church as a whole?

I'd love to hear about it!
